Which Orlando vacation home resorts have water parks?

Quick answer

Among Orlando vacation home resorts, Reunion and Encore have their own water parks, while Storey Lake, ChampionsGate (Oasis Club), Solterra, Windsor at Westside and Windsor Island have a lazy river or water slide at the clubhouse. Access varies: some ask only for proof of stay, others charge a resort fee or require booking through an approved company.

Search for “Orlando vacation rentals with lazy river” and you get hundreds of listings that all say “resort amenities.” What matters is which resort has what, and whether a guest renting a home there can actually get in. The details below come from each clubhouse’s or HOA’s official site, checked in October 2026.

Which Orlando vacation home resorts have water parks?

Reunion and Encore have true on-site water parks, and five other resorts have a lazy river, a water slide or a kids’ splash pad at the clubhouse. Here is how they compare:

Which Orlando resorts have a lazy river?

Six of the eight resorts above have a lazy river inside the community: Storey Lake (at both clubhouses), the Oasis Club in ChampionsGate, Reunion, Solterra, Windsor at Westside and Windsor Island. Encore’s Aqua Park page does not mention one, and Margaritaville’s lazy river is at Island H2O, which is a separate park.

The longest one with a published length is Reunion’s, at 1,000 feet, with a depth of 3 to 4 feet and free tubes. The Oasis Club is the only one whose official site says the lazy river is heated.

Check that it is open before you pick a resort for it. In October 2026, Solterra’s site said the clubhouse pool and lazy river were closed for scheduled maintenance, with reopening expected on December 14, and that the resort fee had been reduced during the work.

Is the resort water park included with a vacation rental?

It depends on who manages the home and who runs the clubhouse. The official sites show three models:

  • Proof of stay only. Storey Lake asks for the Dwelling Live QR code or a confirmation email showing dates and address. The Oasis Club accepts the booking confirmation email or a ChampionsGate parking pass with dates and address, and rejects QR codes from the gate access app because they do not show an address. At Windsor at Westside, your group fills out a pool waiver with names, the home’s address and party size once a day.
  • Resort fee. At Solterra, the fee is paid once per stay at the clubhouse on arrival and covers the whole party. Children count toward the guest total. At Margaritaville, Island H2O admission comes with the paid full resort fee during the March 6 to October 31, 2026 season.
  • Depends on how you booked. Reunion’s water park is private and does not sell tickets at the gate. Guests who booked direct with Reunion, through WorldMark by Wyndham or through the preferred partners listed on the site, and members, can go every day. Guests who booked through an unlisted third party cannot, and neither can Encore guests. Wyndham guests can buy a one-day wristband for $40. At Encore, Aqua Park wristbands go to eligible guests of licensed rental companies.

Ask in writing before you pay whether the home includes clubhouse access and whether there is a fee. Our guide to Orlando vacation rental rules covers the gate, parking and the rest of the HOA rules.

Which of these resorts does Orlando Best Place have homes in?

Orlando Best Place has homes in Storey Lake and in ChampionsGate, and none in the other six resorts in the table.

In Storey Lake, our homes sit in two parts of the resort, The Cove and the eastern section, all on the Storey Lake page. The Hideaway Club is on Kings Castle Circle and the Bronson Club is on Reading Trail. The community runs an on-property shuttle between homes and both clubhouses at (407) 279-8999.

In ChampionsGate, the homes are on the Champions Gate Resort page. The Oasis Club serves Lennar’s ChampionsGate community, and the Retreat at ChampionsGate HOA says its guests can use the Oasis and the Retreat clubhouses. Access depends on whether the home is in a community the club serves, so ask us to confirm for the home you pick. The full list is on our resorts page.

What are the height requirements for resort water slides?

The big slides require 42 to 48 inches, and shorter kids use the kids’ area instead. The official rules:

ResortMain slideFor little ones
ReunionVolcano Twist: 42 inches minimumTwo small slides for kids under 50 inches
EncoreThree tower slides: 48 inches minimumSurfing Safari, for kids under 48 inches
Storey Lake (Hideaway)Two-story slides: 42 inches minimumSplash pad
SolterraWater slide: 48 inches minimumNot detailed on the site

Supervision rules differ too. At Storey Lake, guests under 18 must be with an adult. At the Oasis, guests under 16 must stay with a parent or guardian. At Reunion, kids 12 and under need an adult with them, and the site notes there are no lifeguards on duty, only security. Traveling with little ones? What closes a resort water park?

Lightning closes everything, and afternoon storms are common in Orlando summers. Storey Lake clears the pool and lazy river when lightning is within 10 miles and reopens once the storm moves on. The Oasis Club and Reunion also suspend water areas during thunder and lightning.

They also close for maintenance (Solterra in late 2026) and for capacity. Reunion caps its water park at 500 guests, and only cabanas booked in advance guarantee entry when it is full.

Storey Lake, the Oasis, Encore and Windsor at Westside do not allow outside food or drinks at the clubhouse, and Reunion allows only limited exceptions. Storey Lake also bans cups, tumblers and coolers.

Can a resort clubhouse replace a real water park?

For toddlers and young kids, usually yes. For teens chasing big thrill slides, no. The clubhouse covers a free afternoon with no tickets and no parking, and the home’s private pool covers the morning. The big parks have far more attractions and their own seasonal calendars, explained in Orlando water parks.

From December through February the water gets cool. The Oasis heated lazy river and Solterra’s heated pool help, but a private pool is only comfortable with a heater. Costs are in Orlando pool heat cost.

In practice: pick the resort first for what your kids will use every day (lazy river, splash pad or a big slide), then pick the home. Before paying, ask in writing whether your booking includes clubhouse access, what proof to bring and whether there is a fee. Keep the confirmation email with dates and address on your phone for the first visit.
